Watercolor of the Alamo

              Alamo Water Color Art Print

This stunning full color giclee is of a watercolor of the west facade of the Mission San Antonio De Valero, in San Antonio, Texas, also known as the Alamo.

It was in this abandoned Spanish Mission in February, 1836 that David Crocket, James Bowie, William B Travis and about a hundred and eighty others defended the mission against the advance of General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. All the defenders fell and Santa Anna proceeded east - where he met Houston at San Jacinto, and was defeated.
