The Ducournau Townhouse - Natchitoches, Louisiana

     The Ducournau Townhouse

The Ducournau Townhouse was constructed sometime between 1820 and 1845, on Front Street in Historic Natchitoches, Louisiana.  It is recognized as an authentic example of French Creole mercantile architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  This style of building is very rarely seen outside of the French Quarter in New Orleans.

Every building line, door frame, window mullion, decoration is reproduced faithfully in exacting detail.  Texturing and shading has been added to increase the degree of realism, without sacrificing historical detail.
