The Old Dallas City Hall -
Dallas, Texas

In
June of 1887, the Dallas City Government moved from their first location at
Main
and Akard to the sparkling new Renaissance Revival building at the corner of
Commerce and Sycamore Streets.
There they remained until 1910 when the city sold the building and lot to the
beer baron Adolphus Busch. He
raised the building and erected in its place the magnificent Adolphus Hotel,
which remains to this day.
