1930's Supercharged 4.5 litre "Blower" Bentley

The original un-supercharged Bentley was designed by W. O. Bentley in the early 20s, and won the famous Le Mans race five times between 1924 and 1930.

In 1930, at the urging of Sir Henry Birken, a Roots supercharger was fitted, boosting the output of the 4.5 liter engine from 110 hp to 240 hp. at a top speed of 125 mph.

Long considered one of the most brutally beautiful of classic cars, the “Blower" Bentley has had a distinguished list of owners, including Ian Fleming, author of the James Bond novels.
