1952 and 1953 Formula One seasons are years that the Tifosi will never forget.
In 1952, the new Ferrari 500 F2 was driven to
victory by Alberto Ascari in six of the eight races, making him World Driving
Champion.
Again in 1953, Ferrari won seven of the nine events, with
Ascari taking five, making him Champion for a second time.
With
this incredible string of victories, the 500 F2 can rightly be listed among the
truly legendary cars of F1.
