Ferrari F2008 Winner 2008 Formula 1 Constructor's Championship
On January 6th, 2008, Scuderia Ferrari released it's new Formula 1 car, the F2008, at Maranello, Italy. Visually similar to the World Champion F2007, the 2008 is actually very different. Rules changes have made the car heavier and all body surfaces are radically revised. The 8 cylinder, 90 degree V, 32 valve, type 056 engine must last for two races and the semiautomatic sequential electronically controlled 7 speed gear box must last for four. Other rule changes include loss of traction control, no electronically assisted starting and no engine breaking.
This is the 54th Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 car. The 2008 drivers are World Champion Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Masa.
