Ferrari 312 T2  Niki Lauda 1977 Formula 1 World Champion - Dutch Grand Prix

This limit edition art print represents Niki Lauda's Ferrari 312 T2 in its livery at the Dutch Grand Prix, Circuit Zandvoort, Holland, 28 August, 1977.

Rules changes in the 1976 season forced Ferrari to redesign the 312 T, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.  The ‘T’ had not been a particularly top contender, while the T2, though not a giant killer, proved strong enough to give Ferrari its eighth World Title, and Lauda his second.

On note, even though Niki Lauda won only three races in capturing the World Driver’s Championship, Mario Andretti, driving a Lotus – Ford won more races; four, and James Hunt, also driving a Ferrari took six poles.
