Peugeot 908 HDi FAP  2008 24 Hours of Le Mans

In the 2008 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Peugeot 908s proved very fast, setting the qualifing lap record, with Stéphane Sarrazin number 8 winning pole position. The R10s, however, started carefully, overtook the flying 908s and eventually won the race.

Marc Gene, Nicolas Minassian and Jacques Vulleneuve, in car number 7,  pushed their 5.5 litre V12 HDI FAP twin-turbo engines, but could finish no better than second to the number 1 Audi of Frank Biela, Emanuele Pirro and Marco Werner.
